I'm sure many of you have visited the Blasted Lands at some point and have noticed the large dragon that always seems to sneak up behind you while you are questing/farming? Well, if you and a few of your friends are level 60, then you have found an ample source of gold.

Teremus is a weak boss dragon, it only takes 4-5 people to kill him. He has been done by 2 people before, but they were fully decked in epic gear. I have just done him for the first time today with 4 other people 5 total) and although the battle is long, he is relatively easy and simple. He drops an item: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8244, sometimes up to 4 from a single kill. Then you take that item, and turn it in to: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/mob.html?wmob=7363. He will give you a bag, and inside the bag is a random lvl 40-49 Blue or Epic BoE. That's right, a BoE, so you can sell it on the AH. Today, I got 2 crystals, so I turned both of them in and received 2 Blue BoEs, worth about 50g on my server. Like I said, they are random BoEs, so it is possible to get a weapon that would be worth much more gold, or even an epic weapon that will be worth a LOT more.

Now to explain the battle itself. You definitely need a Warrior for this battle, and I will explain why later. Teremus is immune to Silence, Stuns, Battle Shouts, DoT spells (that's right! No DoTs), some Mage spells, and I would suppose Poisons too. The only think I (the lvl 60 Warrior) was able to use on Teremus was Taunt and Sunder Armor. This battle is very long because of the fact that you can not use DoTs on him for extra DPS. In addition, every time he uses his flame attack, everyone who gets damaged by it heals Teremus, so stay out of the way of the Flame Breath! The healing he gets from this attack is substancial comparing it to the DPS you are able to use on him. Every 30 seconds or so, he will use a Knockback attack on the Warrior and his aggro list will reset, and will probably attack the nearest Mage or Warlock. Whoever gets aggro is to run towards the Tank, so he/she can use Taunt and Sunder Armor to regain aggro. After that, you just follow through the motions and whittle him down.

Suggested Group: Warrior, Mage, Hunter, Priest/Druid, Shaman/Paladin.
The reason for the supporting healer class (Paladin/Shaman) is because this battle is very long. Your Main Healer will probably run out of mana, so you need a supporting healer to step up while the Main Healer gets some mana back.

Teremus respawns daily, so you can redo him over and over for some nice loot.

I hope you all enjoy this strategy. This is my first posted strategy, so comments/questions are appreciated.

This is for alliance only so Hordies, your SOL (complain to Mongoose)

This is for alliance only so Hordies, your SOL (complain to Mongoose)

In light of some completely useless threads on money making, I thought I'd consolidate the majority of my knowledge when it comes to turning coin. This guide will take you from level 1 to level 40 and if you use these strats you WILL have your mount paid for by 40 and you WILL have top notch gear plus all your spells. The profit margin on these are great and in a few cases HUGE, you just have to invest the time it takes to get the items. That being said, let's get started…..

level 1-15:

Darian Singh in Mage Quarter SW
Sells: blue fireworks schematic
Purchase: 18s
AH price: 1-2g

Soolie Berryfizz in Tinker Town, IF
Sells: Free Action Potion recipe
Purchase: 18s
AH price: 3-4g

level 15-20:

Wenna Silkbeard in Sundown Marsh, Wetlands
Sells: Green Leather Armor and Red Whelp Gloves patterns
Price: 20s
AH price: 1g (each)

Frad Swiftgear in Sundown Marsh, Wetlands
Sells: Minor Recombobulator schematic
Purchase: 15s
AH price 1-2g

level 20-30

Bliztik in Raven Hill, Duskwood
Sells: Shadow Oil Recipe
Purchase: 15s
AH price: 3-5g

Zan Shivsproket in Ravenholt Manor, Hillsbrad Foothills
Sells: Gnomish Cloaking Device schematic
Purchase: 15s
AH price: 8-10g

level 30-40

Rikqiz in Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale
Sells: Gem-studded Leather Belt and Shadow Skin Gloves
Purchase: 35s **** (Thottbot says 35s but I remember it being around 1g each)
AH Price: Belt sells for 4-5g and gloves sell for 3-4g

Pearl diving in Vile Reef
Purchase price: None** (time investment only)
AH price: 4g per stack of 9 pearls
This strat takes a little more then just putting them on the AH. Follow my guide found here:
http://www.multiplayerstrategies.com/ms/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=30408&categoryid=20

These are very easy ways to make money but by no means are they the only way to do it. There are a few others I'm not quite ready to give up just yet since all my other strats get wrecked after I post them (only problem being on the official MPS server). If you just look around, you'll see all kinds of ways to make money with very little effort. Once I get deeper in the 40s and into the 50s I'll post additional guides for higher level money makers as I find them. I think you'll find these will get you by even to 60 if you keep with them.

GOOD LUCK!!!

This is a guide for leveling your paladin
The class The paladin is the ultimate support class; they can buff, dispel and heal and are extremely mana-efficient. (...)

This is a guide for leveling your paladin

The class
The paladin is the ultimate support class; they can buff, dispel and heal and are extremely mana-efficient. On top of this they have seals and judgments, that adds more utility to them. They also have their infamous bubbles, which can save your bacon or make you able to do that quest in a hot landing zone. In short, paladins are hard to kill and good to have on your team. Downside is their lack of (burst)-DPS.

Leveling methods
Paladins have a DPS problem compared to other classes. They have the lowest DPS in the game, so questing is the best way to go about leveling your paladin. You can grind, just not for XP (since doing quest yield so much more XP). Grinding can be done, but even then you are better off duoing with some DPS.

Whichever you choose, I highly suggest doing nothing but instances from 58-60 to gear up and get all your key quests done. Not doing so, means missing out on a huge amount of XP.

The traditional ways are:

Grinding:
Not much to say about this. You kill mobs, they give XP, you lvl. If you don't have a comprehensive knowledge of where quests take you and which order is best, grinding is pretty fast for leveling.
It can be pretty boring, but listening to music or being on Vent/TS helps a lot. Get a rhytm going and stay in it. Take breaks when you mana up to not go completely blind

The following is pretty good list of where to grind which mobs. It is however from a horde perspective and you need to scroll down a bit to get to the guide If you read the whole bit, there are some suggestions for alternatives, which work just as well…if not better.
http://www.mpsgames.com/ms/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=31653&categoryid=20&forumid=63

And the following lists some nice alliance spots for grinding. Also are some suggestions on questing.
http://www.wow-pro.com/Knowledge_Base/op=show/kid=515.html

Questing:
If you know your way around the world, this is the fastest way to level up. This is also known as gresting to some. Decent horde guides are few and far between (there are some on this site), alliance have it a lot better.

horde - if you are horde, use Joana's guide. That will take you from 1-60 in 5 days /played. It's written from a hunter perspective, so my suggestion is staggering your progress in the guide by a lvl or two. Other than that, there are some (admittedly with holes in them) guides here in the strat section. An idea is to try and modify the following alliance guide.
http://forums.blizzhackers.com/viewtopic.php?t=309717 is the text guide (thanks Bay_Cassius
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=wow+world+of+warcraft+levels are links to all the videos (thanks sQren)

alliance - if you are alliance, you got it made! The following guide will quickly and easily take you from 30-60. Reason it's 30, is because of the quests pre that are in and around the starter areas, so just level quickly to 30 and you are set.
http://www.wow-pro.com/Knowledge_Base/cat=135.html

Talent specs
First of all, you need to figure out how you are gonna level up? Do you prefer to solo all the way, solo 90% of the time or solo 10% of the time and do instances 90% of the time? If you plan on going solo most of the time, there is no need to go heavy in holy and the other way around if you plan on doing instances.

The following spec is a 90% solo spec. It focuses on improving your melee damage with 2Hers (for SOC), while also allowing you to heal yourself reliably in a tight spot. With concentration aura on, you have uninterruptable heals and your Aura of devotion gives 20% more armour, since you won't be using shields. If you prefer shields, go with redoubt and shield specialization instead of imp. devo aura.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=axxuZxGz0hZVoet0c

The following build is if you plan on doing instances, where you will probably be expected to heal. It's very holy heavy (35 pts), but with 16 points in Ret, you can still swing some hurt. This is the build I am using on my paladin atm.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sExh0gstZV0xt

This is also the build that works well until you start raiding seriously, at which point you should switch to the last spec.
This last spec is focused on support and not on DPS….at all. Surprisingly, it's less holy-heavy, but that is because of losing divine strength. It uses protection mostly for BOK and guardian's favour.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=aVxhbgstVMtc0h

Gear
Again, your gear choices depend on your chosen leveling style…or your wallet. I carry two sets of gear on my pally; one for soloing/DPS'ing and one for healing. For solo/DPS play you should go for STR or AP, since you will do controlled pulls (and have bubbles) or you won't be hit much (in a group). For heal-bot duty, go for INT and don't be afraid to throw in leather, chain and cloth (you'll still have higher armour than a priest).

Mana-efficiency…and gear
Paladins have the most mana-efficient heal in the game and it's on a 1.5 sec cast too boot. Flash of light (FOL) makes you able to continually throw out small heals, so do this when you heal. Because you are casting all the tim, and you don't have any talents to allow you to benefit from SPI, you need to go about your gear a bit different from a priest.

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-paladin&t=932370&p=1&tmp=1#post932370 has a brilliant discussion on gear, which I will summarize below.

The starting raiding healadin, should go for INT to boost his mana-pool to the max. Once you start raiding and get access to better gear (lvl 60 blues and up), you should start to consider mana per 5 secs (MP5) and +heal. With enough MP5, you can virtually cast forever and with +heal you can cast even longer. Once you get enough +heal you can start to drop down in ranks of FOL and when you get short on mana, switch to lower ranks of longer casting heals, since they take more advantage of +heal and allows MP5 more time to work.

Conclusion
Paladin is a fun class to play, if you don't mind supporting. If you want to be a tankadin, or a casting DPS-adin or a ret-noob, prepare to be met with some sceptical glances and don't be too bent on doing it your way, since people have a tendency to type-cast…..besides, you have the most mana-efficient heal in the game, so use it!

I know paladins are a popular class, so there will probably be differing opinions on my layout of the class. This is my take on the class, but feel free to chime in below and I'll add the good stuff up top.

Hi All,

I've just finished a new character to 60, a Rogue, and i chose to go through the game only doing instance quests and the ones at the start to get to lvl 12 or so, and i grinded every single bit of XP apart from that to reach 60, and in this process i have found so many great grinding spots and money spots i couldn't believe it and ended up reaching lvl 60 with 1100g and all my items up to date, and since these kinda posts have dried up on the site a bit i thought i would make one. So I'll try and remember all of them that i can, if i forget any and remember ill post em up later, enjoy.

Money / Xp Grinding Spots ::

Salt Flats - 7 / 10
If you are lvl 30 - 36 you can goto the salt flats, i would recommend a bit higher then lvl 30 if you want to grind but, because you will have to rest after every fight and cant grind very efficiently, i went at lvl 32. The Salt flats have a wide range of beats including Turtles, Basilisks, Vultures and Scorpions. These mobs are all good for xp, as they are around the lvl range i said before, but they drop heaps of random bits and pieces, like shells, wings, bones, scales, claws etc. These parts all stack in lots of 5 or 10, and there are loads of them down there so you can build up a fair bit quite quickly, and this stuff really adds up when u go to sell it at a vendor, i had no trouble making up around 10g after a few hours, and heaps of xp to. 10g might not sound much to higher lvls but makes mount money a lot faster to get.

Tanaris Turtles - 8 / 10
All along the coastline from a little north of Steemwhindle Port, or however you spell it, to up near Lost Rigger Cove, there are turtles called Snapjaws, which range in lvl from 42 - 45 from memory and are a Neutral Mob until you attack them, which makes grinding them that much easier when there is no aggro to worry about. These Turtles are great, as well as having great xp, they drop scales, and shell fragments which sell for a lot, a stack of 5 shell fragments is around 50s, and scales sell for a couple of silver each also i think. On top of this they drop Big - Mouth Clams, which can contain Black, Iredescent and Small Lusterous Pearls, which also sell great on AH. I had no trouble making a lot of money on these guys, just watch out for the opposing faction handing in Quests at the NPC's around there, i got ganked a few times. But really these guys are great, if you are around that level give them a try, i made about 50g off them in the few lvls i was there, i got about 12 Green Items to.

Lost Rigger Cove - 9.9 / 10
What can i say, i absolutely love this place, its incredible to say the least. This cove is filled with lvl 44 - 46 humanoid pirates, and stacks of them. The Humanoids drop Silver, Mageweave Cloth, Common Grey Weapons that sell at a vendor for almost 1g each, Lockboxes and all sorts of Green / Blue and Epic Items. I grinded lvl 45 - 49 here, even at 49 when the xp was getting low, it was to good to leave. You get heaps of mageweave, which i sell on AH for 1g Per Stack, or you can vendor for 50s a stack. They drop lockboxes, the lockboxes contain random vendor junk, silver and sometimes map fragments, or a key. The map fragments are for a chest you can find on another beach in tanaris, once you have all 3 parts, this chest has minimum 3 green items, u can get blue items in it if your lucky. The Key that may drop, is for a chest in a pirate ship in the area, which also has a green item and possibly blue. But by far the best part about this area, there is always 2 Large Solid Chests that spawn around the area, and out of these chests i got so much stuff, Herbs, Food, Blue and Green Items, Truesilver, Mithril etc, just a whole lot of random stuff that you can sell for money. And as soon as you get both of them, about 5 minutes later they are spawning again somewhere else. Out of these chests, i personally got 21 Green and 3 Blue items during my grinding, not to mention the other stuff in them. Andre Firebeard, the named captain mob in the area, is for a quest, so once again just be on the lookout for ppl doing that quest, but i rarely saw a sole while i was grinding. I Made 600g from this area, I found 2 Epic Items while i was grinding there, a Perfectly Calibrated Boomstick and a Ring of Saviours, now this is a random world drop as you know, so there is no saying they will drop for you, but the amount of mobs you can kill down there in short time is huge as there are so many of them, and they respawn fairly quickly. The only reason i won't give this place 10, is because at some of the tents, where the chests spawn, there are sets of 2 pirates, and they are linked, and this can be a pain in the arse, cause if your not a rogue and cant sap one, or a mage and sheep one, then you gotta fight two of em. But they don’t have that much HP so it really isn't to hard. But i must insist you try this place, it is very, very good.

Dunemaul Ogres - 8 / 10
These guys are in 3 different area's of tanaris, the Dunemaul Compound and the East / West Moon Ruins. I must insist if you are going to grind them, go out to the ruins further north into tanaris, as the main compound it used for questing frequently and you will have problems. The reason these guys are good is a bit different to the others. The main advantage of them is that they are really easy to kill, they range in lvl from 45 - 49 so you can grind them for ages, i did until lvl 52 or so. The main drops are mageweave, common grey weapons and silver, i got 2 Blue and about 13 Greens there also though. They drop the cloth fairly often so you can build it up quite fast, and as i mentioned before you can make a fair bit of money with it, there is also constantly Purple Lotus spawning around the ruins for any herbalists that grind there, this stuff is worth money on AH. Not much else to say about em, they are just good.

I can't be bothered writing anymore ATM, but i will do more for lower level spot's and higher level ones soon and post a Part 2, there is lots more good information to come =), remember, this guide is from personal experience, i can't gaurantee the drops i got for anyone else but i can promise you they provide good chance and great grinding, enjoy. - Xilli

/script local i; CastShapeshiftForm(1); CastSpellByName("BloodRage"); CastSpellByName("Charge"); for i = 0,15 do if ( GetPlayerBuffTexture(i) == "Interface\Icons\Ability_Racial_BloodRage") then CancelPlayerBuff(i); end; end

What it does it makes you cast bloodrage, then it cancels bloodrage (now making you out of combat) and charges. YOU MUST SPAM IT though, like press it a lot of times quickly for it to go, not a problem though. One other thing it only of course works in pvp and not mobs, and if you are getting moonfire spammed it wont work because you only have a split second of being out of combat to charge, so basically anything else works.

So, who wants to go to Old Ironforge? i just sent a group over yesterday, and it was well worth it, too. In order to get over, you need a warlock that can summon and a mage. The other three people can be any class. However, everyone must be level 60 and have thier epic mounts. Sorry.

First, go to the bank and face it. Jump up on the right column and go behind it and have all of the people in your group do the same. You need to start a duel. It may say 'You cannot duel here'. If it does, then just move around back there, and both who you are going to duel and you try to start the duel, its easier that way. You must duel the mage, you'll see why later on. Once the duel is started, get on your mount and ride through either the left or the righ passageways and go to the chamber with the King of Ironforge. Make sure you run to the very back of the room, or the duel will end. If it does, just start over.

Once you are in the back of the throne room, run up to ste spot where the ramp meets the platform to the left or right of you, depending which way you went. Now, from the king's point of view, you need to go to the right door in his chamber. The doors have large locks on them and are right next to the exit of the throne room. Now, run up aganst the door, get yourself in the center of the door, and try to run in place. Have the mage polymorph you (Polymorph: Pig will not work for this, must be sheep).

Hopefully, you will have crossed over into a hallway. do not move. turn around until you see a passageway, then walk straight. This may take some time to do, but it is do-able. Do the same for the other party members, and once there are 3 people, including the warlock, are over, have them summon you and the remaining party member. Have a nice time in Old Ironforge!

If you want to see old Ironforge but dont feel like going over, i took some pictures

Anything doesent work or any problems, please post on here telling what went wrong and ill try to post back with a soloution.

Have fun!

horde leveling 1-60This will be the horde section of my leveling guides, and like the alliance one, it assumes that you are on a PvP server. (...)

horde leveling 1-60

This will be the horde section of my leveling guides, and like the alliance one, it assumes that you are on a PvP server. If you are not on a PvP server, feel free to use both guides to your advantage, though I still would suggest these places because they are more advantageous to that race just because of the cities etc.

The horde has four races: Undead, Troll, Tauren, and Orc. Three of them start on the horde or western continent, and the other, Undead, starts in the Eastern Kingdoms, nears the north. Both of these places have leveling for all classes, though I will recommend traveling to quite a few places. Like the other guide, I recommend going through all instances one can at their particular level, as they provide nice loot to help in solo leveling.

Level 1-10

Like alliance, level 1-10 is a solo experience for all of the classes, with basically a quest-based leveling that turns out to be very fast. All that is really necessary is to stay in the newbie section of the zone and branch out when quests are complete. I will be going race by race through the guide, though after level 30 I will go by zone, because by that time it will be easy to travel throughout the world, and all races can go through all zones.

Undead

Undead start in Tirisfall Glades, which has good leveling till at least 10, and can be pushed to 11. You can get quests right in the Cathedral where you start, and upon reaching level 6, one can travel just a little to the east to Brill for more quests. They are all in the vicinity, though a few will ask you to go to Silverpine Forest (this is for level 10-12, so keep them). There is no threats really, just stay away from the far northeast of the zone, as there are level 40 elite mobs there.

Tauren

The Taurens' home is Mulgore, where players will start in the southern part of the zone. The town there has a few quest chains to get you started, but once you find you are out, head a little to the north to Bloodhoof Village, which houses more quests. Upon level 8-9, one should make a trip to Thunder Bluff for more quests as well as trainers and equipment.

Trolls

Sen'Jin Village is the home of the Trolls, located in Durotar. It is in the very south of the zone, and should be a good place to go through level 10. Once you get higher up, you can head to Razor Hill, which has more quests, and then further up to Orgrimmar.

Orcs

Orcs also start in Durotar, but in Razor Hill. You can complete the same quests as the Trolls, and then head to Sen'Jin for more.

All Classes

It shouldn't take more than a few hours to reach level 10, most of the quests are easy and require killing monsters which give exp. You can get items that you need for killing harder monsters. Once you reach level 10 or 11, the options are pretty tight, but still make easy leveling.

Level 10-20

These levels take a more straightforeward approach, especially when one is playing horde. The classes are a lot more centralized, giving more opportunities for leveling together with other horde members and being a little safer if on a PvP server.

I reccomend that all races take a trip to Ogrimmar, and go through the instance Ragefire Chasm. It has good loot and is quick exp, especially with some quests that you can get right outside of it, as well as in the Barrens.

Troll, Orc and Tauren

Level 10-16/18 for these three classes is in one zone, which is gigantic. The Barrens is home to two outposts, many many quests, and three Instances. Technically there is a way to level from 10-22+ here, but it is probably easier to split it up from 10-18/20 and then come back at higher levels for two of the instances. You will want to run from Orgrimmar or Mulgore to the Barrens which is only one zone away from each of the newbie zones. You will want to make your way to the middle of the zone, where you will find The Crossroads. This place is full of quests that require you to travel around the zone and kill many different places. You will also want to take a trip to Rachet when you are around level 13 or 14, as there a quests for The Wailing Caverns, a great instance for level 15-18.

Furthermore, once you get to level 16-18, you can go south to Camp Taurajo, which is right near the Mulgore zone. There are higher level quests there if you want to keep leveling in the Barrens.

If you want somewhere new to go, around level 18 or 19, you can head to Stonetalon Mountains, which is a good place to level for the upcoming grind.

Undead

Personally, I would reccomend that Undead players take the same path as the other three classes, and take the Zepplin outside the Undercity to Durotar and go to Orgrimmar. Even so, Silverpine Forest serves as a good place to go for level 12-13, as there are some quick and easy slaughter quests. I would also reccomend that undead head to Ragefire Chasm and run the instance inside Orgrimmar.

Level 20-30

Leveling starts to slow down a bit, but there are plenty of zones and choices at this point. I would assume that by now all people are in the Barrens/Stonetalon Mountains, and start by heading to Sunrock Retreat in the middle of Stonetalon Mountains. You can quest there which will lead you to the goblins and humans of the digging company to the east, the Nightelf and Centaurs to the north, and to the Harpys to the west. This should be sufficient leveling to 25 or so, but there is a second option.

You can travel north of the Barrens to Ashenvale. There is a town to the north-northeast part of the zone, a good housing to quests. You can come here before Stonetalon, but I would suggest being at least level 25, as even though there will be a few green quests, the majority of them will be your level.

Furthermore, there is a level 28-31 instance in Ashenvale, Blackfathom Depths. There is some nice loot, and a run or two wouldn't be a bad idea. If this doesn't suit you, there is a second instance you can run at the very south part of the barrens, Razorfen Downs. You can check loot tables for the instances here, which is a great place to find out where you want to run to get better equipment.

Level 30-40

You may be a little above level 30, but it should be time to move on to new zones with new quests and instances. I am going to list zones and some good places to go (mostly where the quests are) instead of going by race, as everything is easily acessable with a little bit of travel.

First of all, since we are already out west, it would probably be best to travel to Desolace, which is south of Stonetalon Mountains. There are many opportunities there for questing, which can boost you up from 30-35 pretty quickly. You can head down to the southwest shoreline to find Shadowprey Village, but if you come here at 30, you will probably want to find the encampment in the Kodo Graveyard, on the eastern side. There you can do quests that relate to all of the centaur tribes, and get a great deal of grinding experience. Once you get up to 33 or so, I would reccomend Shadowprey's quests. There arn't any large chains, but you can get a level or two from all of them.

Another option, which is also highly reccomended is Hillsbrad Foothills. On PvP servers this zone can be a huge zone for ganking and PvP, but it also holds a great deal of quests to get players through 5-10 levels easily. If you come at 30, there may be one or two green quests, but they are all quest chains and will lead to elite quests for good exp and rewards. I reccomend going here first and doing the quest as much as possible, then heading to other zones such as Arathi Highlands and Stranglethron Vale.

As mentioned above Arathi Highlands is a great place to level after Hillsbrad. You will recieve one quest for this zone in Hillsbrad, and then you will be asked to turn in the quest to somebody from Hammerfall, located in the northeast section of the zone. Here there will be many quest chains, a lot of slaughter quests for fast exp, and not that many opposing alliance. In the middle of the zone there is an alliance city, so stay away from that part as the guards are level 42.

If you have gone in the order said above, you should be well on your way to 36 or 37 if you only did quests and then left the above zones. I would head to Straglethorn Vale. The easiest way to get there is to take the Zepplin from either Tirisfal or Durotar, and you will end up right in the beginning town, Grom'Gol Base Camp. There are plenty of quests that involve killing in the north and around the base camp, a pretty safe area in general. As you get a little higher in levels, you will have to advance further south, and eventually you can run all the way south to Booty Bay, which is a Goblin Town. There are a lot of options questwise there, and this should eaisly get you to 40. Even though there are a multitude of zones, there are a few other reccomendations.

Instances

There are a few instances you can travel to between 30 and 40, all of which hold some nice loot for all classes. I would definatly, as said in the alliance Guide, suggest that all levelers go to Scarlet Monestary , there are great loot and exp opporunities. Even so, I've found that Razorfen Downs in The Barrens, as well as Uldaman in the Badlands are host to great loot and quests as well. Although you have to travel around to find the quests, consult the links to find out who to talk to for the quests. If you get sick of the solo thing, definatly check out these instances.

Level 40-50

Level 40-50 slims down a bit from 30-40 in places to go, but there are still many quests to go. I would suggest finish up Stranglethorn Vale if you havn't already done so, and then taking a trip back to the Western side of the world.

Feralas is a good place to level at 40, with mobs starting at 38 and rising all the way to 48 or 50. You can stay there for quite some time, with access coming from Thousand Needles. You can find the encampment in the middle of the zone, just keep following the path.

The other place I suggest is also next to Thousand Needles, but is to the south, not west. If you follow the Shimmering Flats in Thousand Needles you will come to Tanaris. Right when you arrive there you will be next to Gadgetzan, the main base for the zone. It is another goblin city, your main place for quests etc. You will want to complete those quests, and upon hitting 44 or 45, start forming Zul'Farruk groups. It is an instance in the northwest of the zone, and like usual, houses great exp and loot, along with some quests. These two zones alone should take you to level 48 or 49, though if you want another zone, there is a good alternative, although more alliance based.

Traveling back to Hillsbrad Foothills, if you go to the northeast, you can find The Hinterlands. This zone has a lot of alliance, and the town is a little hard to get too, so I would suggest not going until level 48 or 49. There are tons of quests for horde at the town, which is located in the very southeast of the zone, below the cliffs. There is a ramp to get down, as jumping will result in death. You may want to find a partner, just in case there are alliance around, because this seems to be one of their prime leveling spots for the high 40's.

Level 50-60

These levels are more grinding instances and soloing, but there are quite a few zones you can visit. If you are already in Tanaris, head to the southwest and take the ramp down to Un'Goro Crater . If you head to the central-north part of the zone, there is a town with quest givers. If you happen to be 55+, you could head further west to Silithis, but you may need to go to a few other zones until you hit 55 or higher. I reccomend Silithis for level 55+, as a lot of the new quests give 6k+ exp and really good exp, they are level 59-60, and not really strong.

Furthermore, you can travel north in the western continents to the three adjacent zones Azshara, Felwood, and Winterspring. All host 50-55+ quests and plenty of them. With these five zones there should be no problem to leveling.

Furthermore, instancing at 55-60 is amazing, and can even be done at 52. From 52-55, I reccomend Atal'Hakkar. When you get 55+, you can do either Scholomance Stratholme Dire Maul or my personal favorite Blackrock Depths. The last 10 levels have a lot of possibilities even though they can be slow at times, just keep going and try to get groups in Orgrimmar for the instances, or you can solo in any of those zones, or even the Plaguelands.

I have come to understand that this is not common knowledge to all rogues and I have yet to see it on any site upon performing multiple searches.

This can be soloed for about 200G per hour or done with 2 rogues for about 1000G.

I do this solo but in fairness I have exceptional gear. I'm sure it could be done with good blue gear. If you have problems with this, get a partner to help you. Frankly, as much money as this can make you, it wouldn't be a horrible crime to complely stock up on greater fire protection pots, elixir of mongoose, giant potions, etc. A death will cost you about 6 minutes and time is money.

You will also need improved sap. 100G worth of respeccing is a small price to pay for a weekend of making thousands.

On to the solo strategy:

In Lower Blackrock Spire you want to stealth to the right in the same manner as you would normally clear the dungeon. You'll come around to the left after dropping off the first ledge and work your way to two doors (one after the other) that are very close to each other and have roaming mobs going through them. After you pass the second door, stop. To your right you should see a ledge. Across from that ledge is another ledge where you will see a bunch of ogres. If you move towards that ledge and look down you will see a platform that you can jump onto. Jump to it. Now move forward and you will see another platform. Jump to it. Lastly you will jump to the ground floor where you will see several tents. When you jump down, fall, don't jump or it will break your stealth. Watch out for roaming mobs. You don't want to fall on them.

Continue on until you get to the hill where the spiders are. As soon as you reach this hill you will come to a nook on your right that most groups that do LBRS skip. In that nook you will see three groups of mobs. To the left are 3 mobs, to the right are 3 mobs and in the back right corner are 2 mobs. The two groups of 3 are not linked but all 6 will aggro if you pull one because the two groups are too close together.

Behold my brilliant artwork!: http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2…rrico/LBRS.jpg

What you want is one of the two mobs in the back. One of these mobs is a Blackrock Pyromancer. He is what you will want to kill, so sap the other guy and go up the little hill behind you. Ranged pull the pyromancer. Just before he gets in range hit evasion and kill him as quickly as possible. He will flee just before he dies, so crippling poison is your friend. You could use kidney shot just before he gets to 20% life but why waste it on a fleeing mob?

As soon as you kill him, loot him and vanish.

Duo Strategy

Kill the group in the back in the same manner but don't waste your vanish. Two rogues shouls make extremely short work of both mobs. Heal up, wait for your curses and such to fade and get ready for some big packs.

The problem with the next pull is that you have 6 mobs to deal with. If the two 'inside mobs' are both Pyromancers, dump this pull and reset. The only way you can continue is to reset, fight 4 elits at the same time or kill a couple, die and come back to an easier pull. In any other case, you want to sap 'inside mob1' or inside mob2'. If one of them is a pyromancer, don't sap it, sap the other one and have your partner sap one of the other mobs in sapped mob's group. See this diagram: http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h2…o/th_LBRS2.jpg

Kill the unsapped pyromancer and vanish.

The duo strat is complicated. You will find that there are several configurations to deal with. I prefer to solo but I make a ton of money if I duo all of the mobs.

Your prize is this: http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=28217

It is one of the best robes that a mage can find if he doesn't raid and that is more than 99% of the mage population. Even raiding mages have bought these from me as gaining archanist or something similar isn't necessarily an overnight process for a new raider. The best part of this robe is that it's bind on pickup. The pattern is bind on use but the robe binds when you make it, so the crafter can only make it for himself.

Yes the downside is that the mage has to be a 300 tailor. I have sold this pattern to 100 people that picked up tailoring just to make this robe. Many dumped tailoring after making it.

These patterns sell for about 200 gold on my server. I've found and sold as many as 5 in a day.

Even better is this http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=16100

They sell for 300-400 gold on my server. They don't drop nearly as often as the robe pattern does but it's a nice payday when they do. I also find a ton of blues (shadowcraft, valor, etc). Those always sell pretty nicely.

My worst one hour session was about 70 gold. My best was 1000 gold (3 patterns, 1 fire recipie and 2 blues).

Again, if you're having trouble with the solo strat, get a partner. Two rogues in green gear can easily handle the solo strat.

Happy hunting!
